Yoga I

Beginners and ongoing yoga students are welcome! The fundamental postures and the basics of yoga are taught for all ages and health conditions. You will be guided through sequences of poses, building skill and understanding, from posture to posture and from class to class.

 

Yoga II

Refinement of basic postures as taught in yoga 1 with more challenging postures introduced. Must have 6 months to 1 year experience in practice of basic postures and a knowledge of one’s own needs and limitations.

 

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is about rejuvenation and renewal. This relaxing and slow paced practice will stimulate your parasympathetic nervous system helping it to balance with your immune system which, in turn, will improve your capacity for healing.

TAI CHI CLASS

WEDNESDAYS (8 weeks)  at  9:00 AM (4  STUDENTS MAX PER CLASS)

Tai Chi is a gentle exercise program that isa part of traditional Chinese medicine.Composed of slow, deliberate movements, meditation and deep breathing,Tai Chi enhances physical health and emotional well-being. The key components of fitness are addressed as well: muscle strength, flexibility, and balance.

Qigong-Meditation

STARTS DECEMBER 13, 2017

Qigong works to restore natural energy flow and also helps to move the energy in our bodies for health. The slow, gentle flowing movements connecting the mind & body to promote balance & harmony of Qi-Energy are easy to follow! Classes will include reflexology, acupressure points and energy massage to promote our bodies’ innate ability to naturally heal from within. Stress, aches, pains, stiffness, anxiety and fatigue fade away by increasing one’s energy. Stagnant blocks are eliminated, leading to faster recovery from injury, illness & diseases.
